Licensing Requirements:

All contractors performing electrical or mechanical work are required to have a licensed electrical or mechanical administrator assigned to their license to personally supervise the work. All contractors are required to maintain general liability insurance and workers' compensation if applicable. A $5,000 bond is required for a specialty or mechanical contractor and a $10,000 bond is required for a general contractor.
