License/Exam Fees:

$200 application fee for each level license. No other fees apply.


Licensing Requirements:

The State of Alaska does not require a Boilers License however, an employer may require it. A notarized application, $200.00 application fee, and experience verification are required for each of the four license classes. You must take and pass an exam with a 70 percent or higher.

135 First class
274 Second class
238 Third class
100 Fourth class (firemen)
