Biennial renewal fees: $220 for active license, $135 for inactive license

Licensing Requirements:

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a college or university recognized by the Alaska State Board of Public Accountancy (Bachelor's degrees awarded after January 1, 2001 must have at least 150 semester hours); have an accounting concentration as defined by the Board; must have a minimum of two years' experience in public accounting or its equivalent; pass the four part uniform CPA examination; and pass the current AICPA ethics examination.
