Public Is Invited to Open House July 12

Employers, prospective employers, and other interested persons are invited to attend an Open House to inaugurate the opening of the new Nome Employment Security (ES) Tax Office on Wednesday, July 12, 2000, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. According to Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner Ed Flanagan, the center will provide services to employers in Western Alaska and will be managed by Robert Gregg.

"Mr. Gregg will provide assistance to employers and bookkeepers with questions regarding unemployment insurance taxes and quarterly report filings," Flanagan said. "He will also be available to business and community groups to provide training and to give presentations on how the Employment Security tax system works."
