Comments
This is a rustic camping area up from the beach area in the forest of the island, accessible by kayak, boat or floatplane. It is a nice, beautiful camping area, but only usable with special equipment and much assistance. The beach itself has up to a 35% grade up soft, loose, unstable rocks to get to the campsites. Surface in the camping area is usable-firm, stable pine needles on a relatively flat surface. The trail from the beach to the camping area is 42” wide. Firegrills here are 10” high, but there is a raised bar-b-q pit. The picnic tables here are 25” high, with 10” overhangs. There are 2 toilets.
